Socialtext Launches 30-Day Free Trial to Familiarize Users with Social Business Platform

Socialtext, a provider of enterprise social software, has launched a 30-day free trial to provide businesses of all sizes instant access to navigate and discover the benefits of using Socialtext’s social business platform.
The free trial provides a risk-free route into experiencing the added business benefits that social collaboration can provide to any business in any industry.

Officials with Socialtext said that elements of the 30-day free trial include, complete access to the Socialtext platform, no limit to the number of users, full administrative capabilities, unlimited use of Socialtext's APIs and webhooks and Socialtext mobile apps among other things.
Back in June, Socialtext had announced that the company has implemented its Software-as-a-Service (SaaS (News - Alert)) platform at the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD).
Socialtext will provide more than 8,000 HUD employees with a secure arena for internal social collaboration and communication, enabling a social layer that has and will continue to break down knowledge silos throughout the entire agency.
In 2011, HUD took on the task of improving internal communications and collaboration to enhance employee satisfaction and improve work processes. After concluding an extensive trial period, HUD determined that Socialtext’s enterprise social networking platform could provide long-term benefits to employees, thus supporting the agency’s larger mission of serving the public.
Built by Socialtext, “HUDConnect” is the agency’s secure, social intranet that has successfully created greater connectedness amongst HUD employees and their nationwide field offices. The implementation of HUDConnect has resulted in a more satisfied work environment amongst HUD employees through a better streamlined communication flow.
