According to Strategy Analytics’ (News - Alert) 2012 Emerging Market Enterprise Survey, opportunities to provide mobile solutions across geographic regions and vertical markets grow with the growing mobile worker population.
The survey, which examined more than 750 business respondents from Brazil, China and India, is optimistic about the growth in enterprise mobility in all three countries.
Investments in mobile devices and in wireless services are very promising in Brazil, China and India, according to the report, “Emerging Market Enterprise Survey 2012- The State of Enterprise Mobility in Brazil, China and India,” a survey undertaken by Strategy Analytics Mobile Workforce Strategies (MWS).
There are far more companies now in Brazil, China and India that are open to the mobile workforce, and the trends indicate that more and more companies are investing in mobile devices and solutions to enable productivity and efficiency of their potential workforce.
Andrew Brown, director of Enterprise Research at Strategy Analytics, said companies in emerging markets are facing increasingly mobile workforces, with between 70 to 80 percent of workers spending at least some portion of their time working out of the office. These companies are also investing in mobile devices that will enable the growing numbers of mobile workers to interact with customers, employees, and other businesses in real time, anytime and from any location.
Brazil, China and India have vast numbers of SMBs willing to spend to better leverage the capabilities of new devices and solutions, said Brown.
Companies in emerging markets now recognize the productivity boosts that can come from a strong work/ life balance, which is now driving their investments in mobile devices and solutions as integral parts of their technology strategies, according to Kevin Burden, director Enterprise Mobility at Strategy Analytics.
