InterAct has unveiled a ground-breaking mobility platform for its mobile applications. The latest platform offers a novel graphical user interface and enhanced navigation. The workflow incorporation across InterAct mobile, computer aided dispatch and records management applications have also been strengthened. The platform is compatible with all devices like laptops, tablets and smartphones irrespective of the operating systems.
In a statement, Darrell True, IT Administrator, Wrentham Public Safety said, “The opportunity to evaluate InterAct’s new mobility platform is exciting and the timing couldn’t be better as we look to modernize law enforcement applications in 2013. InterAct’s commitment to the public safety community is validated by their investment in developing innovative new products for agencies like ours, giving us the tools to fulfill our mission of protecting people and property in our community."
The mobile offerings of InterAct have been implemented in an array of cloud environments. Apart from addressing the requirements of the tiniest agencies to intricate multiagency deployments, these offerings improve cross agency information sharing. Customers will now view combined query returns from NCIC, CJIS, Nlets, and other agency application databases, which are linked to the InterAct InterDEx national data sharing network.
Presently, a minimum of 235 agencies in 39 states with nearly 3,300 users sharing over 600,000 messages each day, are linked by InterDEx. A member agency is only required to give access to their information in order to ensure total control of their management, configuration and access rights.
Tim Irelan, VP/GM, InterAct Mobility Solutions said, “InterAct has been the market leader for public safety mobile applications for many years, helping first responders better communicate and execute queries across different state and federal agency databases. The convergence of new mobile devices and mobile cloud applications is here. InterAct has responded by launching a next generation mobility platform to help first responders improve emergency response by arming them with consolidated query returns through an easily navigated GUI on any mobile device.”
Public safety software offerings are developed by InterAct especially for dispatchers, incident responders and correctional officers globally. Public safety practitioners are linked to each other using InterAct’s cloud applications, offering the required information irrespective of time and location.
