Transform Your Enterprise with Mobility

Opportunities are plentiful for enterprises that give their workforce the ability to go mobile. Tablets and smartphones are changing the way employees get information and get their jobs done. As a result, they’re happier and more productive when they have enterprise mobile access and can get their jobs done on-the-go.
Retailers are arming salespeople with tablets on the department store floor while hospitals are letting doctors and nurses see exam and lab results on other handheld devices. With mobility, the potential is there and waiting to be unleashed.
While IT departments have the power to mandate that all employees use the same corporate device, it's preferable to empower employees to get their work done from anywhere, using the device they choose.
The problem with mobility, despite its attraction, is the risk. With more devices on a network, corporate data can too easily fall into the wrong hands. Data breaches are an awful thing, and unfortunately a huge reality that must be dealt with.
Enterprises need to hit it off at the pass. By investing in platforms that allow for personal device/corporate balance, IT departments can deploy, manage and secure devices on the network.
Uniface from Compuware is one such platform that allows IT pros develop real applications, giving them the power to manage data, all without having a lick of programming experience. What makes Uniface rather unique is its host of templates. Users can create, according to the product’s website, new objects, enforce consistency in the design of user interfaces and increase productivity because developers no longer need to start from scratch for each object.
