AppNeta, a provider of full stack APM (News - Alert) solutions, has released a new big data architecture that can enable customers to realize granular visibility into network and application usage in order to optimize application performance.
AppNeta said its new big data architecture is capable of scaling to more than 50 trillion unique performance metrics allowing customers to better understand the performance of business-critical applications and who is doing what on their networks.
AppNeta added that it’s providing solutions for customers whose task is to manage dozens of Web applications over hundreds of locations around the globe, along with handling thousands of mobile end users. It understands that its offerings should be capable of scaling up to the countless performance metrics that occur every month for these customers, and while doing that should not also lose sight of the broader performance trends occurring across applications and networks.
Matt Stevens, chief technology officer at AppNeta, said, “AppNeta’s primary mission is to provide our customers with easy access to actionable insight needed to understand if their critical applications are being delivered to their end-users successfully or not. With AppNeta’s big data architecture, our customers can now see long term trending and real-time insight all in one place. The network is such a key piece in the successful application delivery chain, and our customers need to know which users are running which apps across locations, and how that usage affects other critical application performance.”
The company has designed the FlowView application award traffic analysis solution that can read into network and application traffic with more granularity than traditional network traffic analysis tools. By deploying FlowView, users can realize instant visibility into critical applications that are being executed over their networks and their impact over end users. With the real-time insight offered by FlowView, coupled with a long term usage history, customers can spot trends and outliers, pinpointing where performance problems are originating and why.
AppNeta added that with its full stack solutions, customers save time and frustration by finding the problems instead of pointing fingers.
